DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

These delicious cookies will become a firm favourite at home once you have tried them. Soft in the centre but crunchy on the outside it is the perfect combination to make you keep coming back

 

Ingredients

250g Plain Flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp sea salt 

125g Butter, unsalted

125g Light brown sugar

125g Caster Sugar

1 large Egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

100g Dark chocolate block 

100g White chocolate chips



METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees

  2. Cream together butter and sugar until smooth and slightly whipped 

  3. Add in your egg and vanilla extract 

  4. Sieve your flour and add your baking powder. Slowly add the flour mixture to your mixture and combine. 

  5. Lastly add your chopped chocolate to the mix and finish combing before leaving to rest 

  6. Using an ice cream scoop to portion out your cookies 

  7. Cook your cookies for about 15 minutes taking them out of the oven at the halfway point to give them a little knock underneath to help them drop
